FDC processes personal data about users of our website, employees of the FDC Group (all companies owned by FDC) and our customers. We protect personal data and follow the legislation in force at any time to protect the personal data that we process. In all cases, it is our goal to maintain a high level of protection of personal data.

How we protect personal data
FDC processes personal data lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner.
We have therefore taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that personal data is always protected against, for example, loss, manipulation and unauthorized access. We continuously adapt our security to keep up with technological developments.
What personal data do we process?
FDC only processes personal data when we are authorized to do so via instructions from your insurance company.
FDC only stores personal data for as long as necessary and only to fulfill the purposes for which the processing is required. We have clear rules that ensure that information is not stored longer than necessary.
When do we disclose personal information?
All employees at FDC are subject to a duty of confidentiality regarding the information that comes to our attention through the processing of your data
FDC never discloses personal data to external parties (i.e. to third parties) without the data subject's consent, unless there is legal basis for this or we are required to do so by a court. The Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Act is an example of legislative considerations that outweigh the individual's rights through the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
FDC is responsible for any sub-processors' processing of your data.
FDC may use data processors outside the FDC Group. External data processors only process personal data on behalf of FDC for the specific purposes for which the data was originally collected and only on instructions from FDC. We have a number of minimum security requirements for the protection of personal data that FDC’s data processors must always meet.
As a general rule, FDC does not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU and EEA, but if it is necessary for us to fulfill a legal or contractual obligation to a customer, this may take place. In such cases, FDC enters into data processing agreements with these subcontractors in accordance with EU/EEA rules to ensure a high level of protection. The agreements ensure that the subcontractors' processing of personal data is in accordance with the applicable EU/EEA rules on data protection. The terms and conditions of the agreements always meet the requirements of the European Commission and applicable personal data protection legislation.
The right to access and the right to be forgotten
You have the right to access, change and delete the personal data that we have registered and are processing about you. If you wish to do so, please contact your insurance company or alternatively contact FDC, Lautrupvang 12, DK-2750 Ballerup. You can expect us to respond to your inquiry no later than one month after your inquiry has been received.
In response to your inquiry, we will inform you about which information we can delete immediately and which information we are obliged to store according to law.
This is how you complain
If you wish to complain about the way we process information about you, you must write to the complaints officer at FDC:
